Day 2 - Reality Check

So......what worked in 2019 ain't working no more.  Yes, it's true and I'm here to give testimony in July of 2019 I was in the best shape of my life (albeit in a 60 year old body) but 2 years of the M word and the body that kicked a** and took names now has a meno-middle.   The idea that the 2019 diet was going to work was simply wishful thinking.

Enter Saint Darrylynn.  After confessing my nutritional sins, she absolved me and patiently explained I had to break up "loves" - namely my Manhattans, wine, salty chips and cheese (the only dairy I LOVE). For the most part, I've got some.of the basics down (like physical activity and drinking water) but I really need to be more mindful about what goes in my mouth and when!  Who knew that eating carbs on the am wasn't helping!  

Wish me luck as I chronicle my journey! Diet plan on hand, supplements (probiotics) on order and workouts scheduled.
